Learmonth is a town in western Victoria, Australia. The town is located on the Sunraysia Highway, 136 kilometres (85 mi) west of the state capital Melbourne, near the regional centre of Ballarat. At the 2006 census, Learmonth had a population of 289. Lake Learmonth Post Office opened on 13 February 1858 and was renamed Learmonth in 1860. The town has an Australian Rules football team competing in the Central Highlands Football League.
