Captain Josef Felderer lead the Wiesing battalion in Tirol’s battle for freedom. The Chapel boasts a commemorative plaque in his honor. The chapel was built in 1732 by Felderer’s grandfather to say thanks for his rescue from a wrecked ship on the Danube.
