Boyne Island is a town in Queensland, Australia, 25 km south of Gladstone. It is located on the West Bank of the Boyne River and is made an island by the adjoining South Trees Inlet. It is a twin town with Tannum Sands located directly across the river. At the 2006 census, Boyne Island has a population of 3,687.
