Gushaini is located deep in the Tirthan Valley in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh and is a scenic and pristine village nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. The drive from Delhi takes around 15 hours and can be a difficult as it is through mountain roads which might not be in good condition. There are many small waterfalls and streams that a traveler can find along the way. This makes the drive worth the effort. There are many outdoor activities that one can do at Gushaini. For adventurous travelers there is the option of trekking, rock climbing, fishing, white water rafting and many others. The Himalayan National Park is a vast expanse of forest which is a good place for trekking and rock climbing. Tourists also have the option of having picnics in the wilderness. There are many small hamlets and villages that dot the country side around Gushaini. Some of them are Nagini, Chalogi, Mungla and many others with interesting names. These are a good option for day trips and the villagers are friendly and welcoming.

By Air : The Bhuntar Airport popularly known as Kullu Manali Airport and Kullu Airport, located at a distance of about 50 km, is the closest domestic air base to Gushaini. This airport connects all the main cities in India like New Delhi, Pathankot, Shimla, Chandigarh, and Dharamsala.There are taxi or jeep services from the airport to the town. They charge around Rs 500 for the trip.
By Train : The nearest Railway Station from Gushaini is Joginder Nagar Railway Station which is located at a distance of 30 Kms from the town.
By BUS : Regular buses for Gushaini are available from Chandigarh, Kullu, and New Delhi. Gushaini is about 550 km (15 hrs) from Delhi and it can be a difficult journey as the roads here are quite steep and Gushaini is prone to landslides. On the way to Gushaini, one can enjoy the beauty of many small waterfalls and streams. This makes the drive worth the effort. Private cars and cabs is the best option of travelling around Gushaini.
