Detail InformationEdit

This building is a striking example of a residential tower that has been transformed into a Castle in the course of the years.
Upon entering the courtyard you´ll see a quite unassuming frontage. A mighty wall with a tower like structure rises above the first three stories. In its hey days, the Castle was encircled by a lovely pond.
The striking structure is even more underlined by the double saddleback roofs of its annexes. The Castle boasts various attractions that are worth seeing: The archway leading to the Castle portal shows three small pyramids, the left annex houses a Chapel and at all rooms you´ll be pleasantly surprised to discover ornate plasterwork. On the second floor there are fine ceiling murals that depict biblical scenes and a remarkable chapel window with the year 1674 inscribed.
The smaller tower that rose from the rear of the west wall was demolished for its dilapidated state.
