Detail InformationEdit

You´ll find this splendid Castle on the very site where the Mattig flows into the Inn River …
It is readily accessible from the Hagenau Train Station (Neumarkt – Braunau via Bogenhofen Castle).
The Castle you see today is mainly of the 16th century with the original towers that have survived the course of time. Two rotunda towers rise from the southern wall while two corner towers of square shape rise from the northern wall. The inner courtyard once was adorned with arcades. Set in the Castle´s grounds you´ll find a Gothic church that was consecrated in the year 1515. Others: Closed to Visitors .
