Yawteshwar Temple, Satara is located in a small village called Yawteshwar in the Satara District of Maharshtra, at a distance of 5 km from Satara city. Surrounded by dense evergreen forests of the Sahyadri Rangee of the Western Ghats, Yawteshwar Temple is situated at an altitude of 336 m, on the plateau of Yawteshwar Hill. Lord Yawteshwara (Lord Shiva) is the presiding deity of Yawteshwar temple.
