There is a wide variety of flora and fauna – including the occasional tiger – that will surely intrigue wildlife enthusiasts and scientists alike. The Shiva temple, located in a natural cave, is also worth a visit. Yes, Khekranala might be a small spot on the face of Vidarbha, but it is a beauty spot nonetheless!

Khekranalla is actually a medium irrigation project created by building an earthen dam and spillway across Khekra Nala in in the year 1988. It is in Nagpur District and nearest city is Savner , Length of the dam is 330 M ( 98.4252 ft) , height above the foundation is 24.5M ( 80,38 ft.) Spillway is chute type with 4 Radial type spillway gates.Today Khekara Nala as it is popularly known is a favorite picnic place .
