The Telankhedi Shiv Mandir dedicated to Lord Shiva is located about 5kms north west of Nagpur, near to Japanese Garden. This 400 year old temple sprawl over an area of 18.288 x 6.096sq. m is surrounded by various small shrines of Hindu Gods. The entrance of Telankhedi Shiv Mandir is adorned with a magnificent structure of Nandi. The 1.06m tall lingam of the Lord Shiva is kept in the sanctum sanctorum at a 3.65 x 3.65 sq. m. platform. At the back of the lingam on the wall, one can found a marvelous carved image of Ganapati.
