Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive at Port Blair / Sightseeing
Arrive at Port Blair and check into the hotel. After lunch visit Anthropological Museum which displays the tools, models habitats, art and handcrafts of the aboriginal tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Proceed to Corbyn’s Cove beach. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 Arrive at Havelock Island
After breakfast, travel to Havelock Island via ferry from Port Blair Harbour. Arrive at Havelock Island and check into the hotel. Day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 Havelock Island – Radhanagar Beach
After breakfast, proceed to Radhanagar Beach – rated among the best beaches in Asia for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 4 Excursion to Elephanta Beach
Optional sightseeing at extra cost to Elephanta Beach. Start early morning by 7 am and embark on the most memorable snorkelling trip, *just 40 min by boat this beach offers snorkelers calm blue shallow waters and is the perfect spot for beginner snorkelers. The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkelling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 metre. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkelling equipment and car pick up and drop to jetty. (The trip may be changed to light house subject to weather conditions and visibility.)
DAY 5 Havelock – Port Blair
After breakfast, proceed to Radhanagar Beach or Beach No. 7, rated by Times Magazine among the finest beaches in Asia. It is an ideal place for swimming, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach. Afternoon, return to Port Blair via ferry. Evening proceed to Sagarika (the Govt. Emporium of Handcraft) and local market for shopping. Overnight at Port Blair.
DAY 6 Port Blair – City Sightseeing – Shopping
After Breakfast, we take you for the tour of Port Blair city which covers Cellular Jail (National Memorial), Chatham saw mill (the oldest and biggest mill in Asia), Forest Museum, Samundrika (Naval Marine Museum), Science Centre, Anthropological Museum, which displays the tools, models habitats, art and handcrafts of the aboriginal tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, After that we proceed to Corbyn’s Cove beach Shopping : At evening, we proceed to Sagarika ( the Govt. Emporium of Handcraft) and local market for shopping.
DAY 7 Depart from Port Blair
After breakfast, transfer to Port Blair Harbor and depart to onward destination.
