Itinerary
DAY 1 Arrive at Mysore
Arrive at Mysore and check in at the hotel. After lunch visit the Mysore Palace. Later take a drive to Chamundi Hills and pay your obeisance to goddess Chamundi. Spend the evening at Brindavan Gardens behind the Krishnaraja Sagar Dam. The garden has innumerable fountains which dance to the music every evening. This Garden has been the filming location for many Hindi movie of bygone days. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 Mysore to Wayanad (2 hr 30 min, 120 km)
After breakfast, drive to Wayanad. Enroute visit the Wayanad Wildlife and Muthanga sanctuaries, which offer sightings of free ranging wildlife like herds of elephants, gaurs, deers, wild cats and many species of reptiles, fishes, butterflies and birds. Next visit Sulthan Bathery, which is an artillery battery that used by Tipu Sultan. Arrive at Wayanad by afternoon and check in at the hotel. Evening drive to Sunrise valley to witness a spectacular sunset. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to sightseeing of Pookod lake, a scenic freshwater lake, Lakkidi, which receives the second highest rainfall in India and Neelimala View Point. Thereafter visit Soojipara falls and end the day with a visit to Chembra peak. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 Depart from Wayanad
Depart after breakfast. En route make a brief halt at Pookot Lake
