Issorcim of Hollant beach is a peaceful beach is quite scenic, especially during the high tide, when the sea meets a freshwater stream flowing nearby. There is also a spring, near the church, at the edge of lush fields. The Mormugao taluka has a strand of excellent beaches like Bogmalo beach, Issorcim, little Cola beach (a rich spawning ground of fish and crustaceans), Pale, Velsao beach and Cansaulim beach. The Vasco da Gama beaches of Cumberthi and Baina regrettably become absolutely polluted and all but destroyed.
