Goderich is a town on the outskirts of Sierra Leone’s capital Freetown. The town is located in the Western Area Rural District, about 13 miles (20 kilometers) from Freetown. The town had a population of 19,209 in the 2004 census Goderich has a very high standard of living and is one of the wealthiest towns in Sierra Leone.
