Koidu Town officially known as Koidu New Sembehun is the fifth largest city in Sierra Leone and the capital and economic center of the diamond-rich Kono District in the Eastern Province. The city is the second largest in the Eastern Province, after Kenema, and lies approximately 275 miles east of Freetown. Koidu Town is a major business hubs and diamond trade center.
