Uice is a city and municipality in western Serbia, located at the banks of the etinja river. It is the administrative center of the Zlatibor District. The region surrounding Uice was first settled by Illyrians, specifically the Parthini and Autariatae tribes. Their tombs are found throughout the region. In the 3rd century BC, Scordisci were formed here after the Gallic invasion of the Balkans.
