Located on the Southeastern coast of the island, Kingston is the capital and the largest Jamaican city. This stunning city has a colonial past and due to this, visitors will find varied attractions and sightseeing’s. There are amazing city attractions such as the Spanish Town and Devon House which has excellent British and Spanish architecture. The market area here displays vibrant colors with distinctly Afro-Caribbean flavor. Tourists can enjoy amazing and thrilling activities like hiking, trekking, birdwatching and also take a plunge in the crystal clear and icy waters of the cascading waterfalls of the Blue Mountain near the town.
Port Royal is a beautiful prehistoric neighborhood, which was once settled and had many striking old buildings and forts. This city remains in ruins today as it was struck by earthquake and tsunami, but there are few ancient remains like Giddy House and Fort Charles which are worth visiting. Visitors can also find some of the beautiful beaches at Lime Kay which is stunning beach. Rockfort Mineral Baths and Bull Bay are places where one can enjoy bathing at the Cane River Falls in Kingston.
