HistoryEdit

Goa is replete with religious places a plenty and is not actually tilted towards any particular religion. If there are numerous temples, an equal or perhaps more churches can be traced in and around the state. The Cansaulecim church which was founded way back in 1581 is one such wonderful piece of monument which draws numerous tourists towards itself due to its ancient history and the typical Portuguese architectural style in which it was build. The church was renovated in the year 1632 in order to restore the old glory damaged by age. The Cansaulim Lharam lists all the old vicars and history of the church and is also a major draw.
