Hotel Description:An elaborate 500-year-old heritage haveli, the Jaisal Castle was converted into a hotel 38 years ago. It is spread over a relatively large area and comprises of numerous storeys. Located within the Jaisalmer Fort, the heritage hotel’s courtyard is flanked by the fortress wall on one side, with a terrace dining area on top of the battlements.Located in a narrow alley within the Jaisalmer Fort, the hotel enjoys proximity to all places of tourist interest within the city. It is accessible by an approximate 250 metre walk on foot from the main parking area within the Jaisalmer Fort. While the airport, railway station and bus stand are within a 3 km radius of the hotel, the main market is just a kilometre away. Please note, the airport is operational from October to March only.
