Darjeeling weather offers a relatively moderate climate. Monsoon season (July to August) is the one to really avoid. Autumn (September to November) is a popular time for visitors. Winters (December and January) are generally cool, with temperatures averaging 5°C to 8°C but they can drop below 0°C. Spring (February and March) is a top time to visit but it can still get chilly.
