Garm is renowned for its hot mineral water springs, excellent climatic conditions and strategic location in the Rasht Valley area of central Tajikistan. Every year thousands of locals as well as tourists form around the World come here for health excursions and enjoying relaxing spa holidays. In the recent past, the place served as an important military center, but as-of-now has transformed into a calm and quiet place where travelers can enjoy relaxing holidays.
The hot mineral water springs known as Garm-Chashma are located at an altitude of 2,325 meters above sea level. The waters of the spring are rich in calcium carbonate salts and contain high percentage of minerals. Because of its freshness and mineral qualities, the water has immense medicinal properties and can cure major ailments such as skin related problems, gynecological disorders, cardiovascular diseases and nervous system.
