Royal Oak could be a residential neighbourhood within the north-west quadrant of metropolis, Alberta. It’s placed near the north-western fringe of the town and is delimited to the north by Country Hills street, to the east by Stoney path, to the south by Crowchild path and to the west by Rocky Ridge Road. Royal Oak is found close to Rocky Ridge, Calgary
The land was annexed to the town of metropolis in 1989 (from the Municipal District of Rocky View), and Royal Oak was established in 1998. It’s described within the metropolis council by Ward one representative vale Hodges.
The metropolis Board of Education recently opened the Royal Oak grade school in September 2010. The college accommodates preschool to Grade four students residing in Royal Oak and Rocky Ridge.
