Attu could be a settlement within the Qaasuitsup municipality in western Greenland, situated on atiny low island on the shores of Davis Strait. Its population is 226 as of 2010. It’s the southmost settlement within the municipality. Air Greenland serves the village as a part of government contract, with winter-only whirlybird flights from Attu aerodrome to Aasiaat landing field and Kangaatsiaq aerodrome.
