Detail InformationEdit

The Verdugo Hills of Peace Pioneer burying ground, or Verdugo Hills burying ground, set in Tujunga, l. A. , California, opened in 1922 and enclosed 1976. The l. A. Workplace of Historic Resources describes the four-acre burying ground: By the first Seventies the cemetery had fallen into unsoundness, in keeping with the l. A. Times, and lost its license in 1976.
On Gregorian calendar month ten, 1978, when days of torrential rains, a colossal landslide occurred within the San archangel Mountains foothills on top of Tujunga. The result was the unearthing of an oversized section of the burying ground and corpses being strewn throughout the realm. The rain had been gushing into holes created by gophers and saturated the world. Once the slope gave approach, decayed caskets skint open and their contents were frenzied.
