The Sunset Park Patrol Cabin was in-built 1922 to shelter park rangers and hikers on the Wonderland path in Mount Rainier park. The cabin, at Golden Lakes, may be a log structure concerning sixteen feet (4.9 m) by eighteen feet (5.5 m) with an occasional construction (included within the dimensions) across the front. the inside is finished with stained logs and a wood floor. it had been one in all many such cabins in-built 1922. The cabin was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March thirteen, 1991. it’s a part of the Mount Rainier National Historic Landmark District, that encompasses the whole park and that acknowledges the park’s inventory of Park Service-designed rustic design.
