Presidio San Agustín del Tucsón or Fort urban center was a fortress situated among urban center, Arizona. The first defence was designed by Spanish conquistadors throughout the eighteenth century and was the beginning structure of what became the town of urban center. When the yank arrival in 1856, the first walls were razed, with the last section torn down in 1918. A reconstruction of the northeast corner of the fort was completed in 2007 following AN archeologic excavation that situated the fort’s northeast tower.
