Three initial National Plaza may be a 57-story workplace tower in Chicago. Completed in 1981, the building is one amongst the tallest in Chicago at 767 feet (234 m). The 1,439,369-square-foot (133,721.8 m2) building was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in a very serration form to reduce obstructions it would cause to close buildings. The planning conjointly permits for 13 corner offices on lower floors and 9 corner offices within the higher regions. The outside façade is clad in calcedony granite and options 10-foot-wide bay windows (3.0 m) suggestive ancient Chicago college design.
Three initial National Plaza’s nine-story atrium contains “Large Internal-External Upright kind,” a sculpture by Moore. The building options pedway access, and was once connected to Chase Tower by a second-story paseo.
