The Indiana government building is that the state Capitol of the U.S. State of Indiana. Housing the Indiana General Assembly, the workplace of the Governor of Indiana, the Supreme Court of Indiana, and alternative state officers, it’s placed within the city Indianapolis at two hundred West Washington Street. Inbuilt 1888, it’s the fifth building to accommodate the government.
The first government building, placed in Corydon, Indiana, continues to be standing and is maintained as a state historic web site. The second building was the recent Marion county seat that was dismantled and replaced within the early twentieth century. The third building was a structure sculptural on the Parthenon, however was condemned in 1877 due to structural defects and destroyed that the current government building can be engineered on its location.
