Golden Gate University (informally brought up as GGU, or just as Golden Gate) could be a personal, nondenominational, co-ed university settled within the South of Market district, straightaway south of the monetary District of downtown urban center, California. Supported in 1901, GGU makes a speciality of educating professionals through its colleges of law, business, taxation, and accounting. The University offers 2 college boy degrees with eight concentrations and fifteen graduate degrees with twenty four concentrations.
The university evolved out of the literary reading teams of the urban center Central YMCA at a time once, in keeping with one modern estimate only 1 of each 2 thousand men had a school education. GGU shares its YMCA roots with variety of different U.S. Universities, together with Northeastern University (Boston, Massachusetts), urban center State University, and Michigan State University school of Law. On November 1, 1881 at the YMCA building at 232 Sutter Street, that the organization had occupied since 1868, the YMCA school was established. Categories were offered in accountancy, arithmetic, stenography, elocution, Spanish and gymanstic exercise.
