The Abbey of Saint Jewess ANd Saint Joe Louis is an abbey of the Roman Catholic English Benedictine Congregation (EBC) situated in St. Joe Louis County, Missouri USA. The Abbey is a crucial presence within the religious lifetime of the bishopric of St. Louis. The monks of the Abbey live their religion in keeping with the Benedictine discipline of ‘prayer and work’, praying the Divine Office 5 times daily, celebrating daily lots in English and Latin, and dealing within the 2 parishes beneath their pastoral care and within the Saint Joe Louis religious residence faculty, that the Abbey runs as AN apostolate. The Abbey and its faculty sit on a 150-acre (0.61 km2) field in west St. Joe Louis County, within the town of Creve Coeur.
