Oxkutzcab (sometimes spelled as Oxcutzcab) could be a municipality, with a municipal seat of constant name within the Mexican state of Yucatán, southeast of Maní, Yucatán. The name within the Yucatec Maya language suggests that “Place of ramon, tobacco, and honey”.
According to the 2005 census, Oxkutzcab had a population of twenty one,341 individuals within the town and twenty seven,084 within the entire municipality, preponderantly of Maya descent. Henequen, sugar, tobacco, maize, and fruit ar fully grown commercially within the encompassing space.
