Built in 1896, the Monkey home is one among the foremost famed ranch sites within the monument. The builder, Dick Woolsey, his wife, and an oversized monkey lived there for over fifteen years. Once guests came, the monkey, that had its own house atop a pole, would chatter noisily. The Monkey home is engineered into a rock wall on the proper facet of the ravine. To succeed in the Monkey House, follow mammilla Ranch Road fifteen miles to mammilla Ranch.Take a right off mammilla Ranch Road at a really Sandy intersection close to the bottom of the White Cliffs.
