Detail InformationEdit

The Prayer Tower may be a late Googie design-influenced tower set on the field of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The two hundred foot (60.9 m) glass and steel structure, designed by Tulsa designer Frank Wallace, opened in 1967. An inside observation deck provides a 360° read of the encompassing space and permits a self-guided visual tour of the ORU field.A visitant center on the bottom floor includes a shop along side showings of a 20-minute multimedia system presentation on the history of the university and a 36-minute, faith-oriented presentation concerning the lifetime of Oral Roberts. The improved Ralph L. Reece Memorial Gardens surround the tower base. The tower may be a in style native traveler attraction.
