Camp Muir, named for the naturalist John Muir, may be a high-altitude refuge for climbers on Mount Rainier in Mount Rainier parkland The shelters comprising the camp area unit placed at a ten,080 foot elevation between the naturalist plain and also the Cowlitz ice mass on Mt.
