Fort Stark Historic web site is found on a land traditionally known as Jerry’s purpose on the southeast corner of latest Castle Island. It overlooks the Piscataqua watercourse, very little Harbor and also the Atlantic. Fort Stark was named in honor of John Stark, commander of N.H. Forces at the Battle of town (1777).
