Baconao Park could be a giant park region, settled regarding twenty kilometers off from town of Santiago First State Cuba, with a complete surface of 848.57 sq kilometer (327.63 sq mi). The name Baconao is expounded to the name of alittle native that lived within the south of Cuba throughout the pre-Columbian amount. Legend mentions a charming tree, known as bacona, that allowed the child to play music from the lagoon’s snails. This small Cuban was famed for his fishing and swimming skills, yet as taking part in Batos (Cuban original baseball game). The child accustomed sit underneath the bacona tree to play music from his snail.Everybody within the village was fascinated, and thought that the flexibility to play the music was a present from the charming tree. Therefore, they began to decision the child Baconao. One day, the young boy left the village for a visit, and ne’er came back. The villagers believed that the kid’s magic came to the trees, and as time passed, the total space got the name Baconao. In 1987, it had been declared a World Heritage region Reserve by the UNESCO.
