Blue Island could be a town in Cook County, Illinois. The population was twenty two,556 at the 2010 census. Blue Island was established within the decennium as some way station for settlers traveling on the Vincennes Trace, and also the settlement prospered as a result of it had been handily set a day’s journey outside of Chicago.
