Tiburon is associate incorporated city in Marin County, California. It occupies most of the Tiburon land, that reaches south into the port of entry Bay. The smaller town of Belvedere (formerly a separate island) occupies the south-east a part of the land and is contiguous with Tiburon. Tiburon is bordered by Corte Madera to the north and Mill natural depression to the west, however is otherwise encircled by the Bay.
