Palisades, erstwhile called Sneden’s Landing then Rockland, could be a hamlet within the city of Orangetown in Rockland County, New York, u. S., situated north of Rockleigh and Alpine, New Jersey; east of Tappan; south of Sparkill; and west of the river. The hamlet has no politician, nor any official legislative bodies. It’s nearly entirely residential with the exception of alittle industrial space section on the Arthur Tappan border. The realm normally observed as Snedens Landing, is found at intervals the jap portion of Palisades between United States Route 9W and also the river.
