Whitney may be a rural lakeshore community, and website of the terribly initial bass fishing tournament. Created by the native newspaper, it passed on Lake Whitney in 1955 with seventy three groups taking part. Whitney may be a city in Hill County in Central TX. The population was one,833 at the 2000 census. in line with the u. s. Census Bureau, the city encompasses a total space of one.6square miles (4.1Square kilometers), all of it land.
