The University of British Columbia Okanagan could be a field of the University of British Columbia, situated in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The official name for the field is solely UBC’s Okanagan field, though it’s often known as ‘UBCO.’ before 2005, the field itself belonged to the previous Okanagan University school. Smaller than the older field in Vancouver, Okanagan field presently has around ten,500 college man and postgraduate students registered.
The current field for UBC Okanagan was originally employed by Okanagan University school. That school was based in 1989 as a section of an idea by the govt. To enhance access to post-secondary education in North American nation. Originally degrees were awarded in partnership with different universities, however by 1995, the university began granting degrees in its own name. Beginning within the late Nineteen Nineties, Okanagan University began lobbying efforts to achieve full university standing.
