The Zion Lodge Historic District surrounds the country lodge originally designed by Gilbert Stanley copse in Zion parkland. The lodge served because the center of a bunch of cabins, worker dormitories and support buildings that ar enclosed within the district. A natatorium and bathhouse were destroyed in 1976. The district was distended in 1986 to incorporate associate degree Underwood-designed former photography studio and extra cabins.
The Zion Lodge complicated was developed by the American state Parks Company to supply lodging for tourists at Zion. The American state Parks Company was in hand by the Union Pacific Railroad, that had developed a robust relationship with copse.
