The repository of Osteology could be a public repository dedicated to the study of bones and skeletons (osteology). This repository is found in Oklahoma City and options displays with the skeletons of over one,000 species from animals everywhere the planet. The repository was established by Jay Villemarette, founding father of the corporate Skulls Unlimited International, Inc., that is found next to the repository.. Construction on the repository began in 2004 and opened to the general public on October one, 2010.The repository focuses on the shape and performance of the system with various instructional and taxonomical displays that includes all 5 vertebrate categories. The collections housed within the repository of Osteology square measure the results of over thirty years of aggregation by Jay Villemarette. Presently the collections accommodates about ten,000 specimens representing over two,500 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
