East Greenbush may be a city in Rensselaer County, New York, USA. The word Greenbush springs from the Dutch “Greenen Jerom Bos,” bearing on the pine woods that originally lined the land. The primary settlement of the land currently referred to as East Greenbush was created by tenants beneath Patroon Kiliaen van Rensselaer around 1630. The city was shaped in 1855 because the city of Clinton, the name dynamical to East Greenbush 3 years later. It’s largely community on its major highways and rural within the southwestern and northeastern corners.
