Mountainburg may be a town in Crawford County, Arkansas, us. It’s a part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan applied mathematics space. The population was 682 at the 2000 census.
Mountainburg lies on U.S. Route 71, and thrived once this road was the most route in northwest Arkansas. It’s currently a a lot of sleepyheaded community. The town park in downtown Mountainburg has since 1980 hosted 2 giant archosaur models. Lake Fort Smith State Park, that is located on the western aspect of the one,400 acres (5.7 km2) Lake Fort Smith, is found eight miles (13 km) north of Mountainburg.
