The Mount Holly sepulcher was designed by architects Thompson and President Harding in 1917 and is found in capital of Arkansas, Arkansas. Its branch of knowledge significance lies in its self-denial of straightforward Greek Revival style. The structure was accessorial to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The sepulcher is found within the northwest corner of very little Rock’s oldest and most picturesque burial site, Mount Holly (which is additionally listed within the National Register of Historic Places). Made of rock, the building consists of a central entrance block flanked by 2 smaller wings.
The entrance is framed by 2 fluted Doric columns that are set into the structure and ar flush with the skin wall. An easy cornice with moulding molding wraps the whole central block; the straightforward parapet rises slightly higher over the doorway. The doorway options 2 double doors with multi paned leaded glass cames (grooved strips that hold along the panes) embellished with a laurel wreath motif in glass. In addition, glass windows with predominant tones of gold, green, and lavender seem flanking the door and within the transom also as at the rear of the most block.
