Xoxocotla may be a municipality settled within the south zone within the State of city, regarding a hundred kilometre from urban center Xalapa. It’s a surface of sixty three.34 km2. The name comes from the language Náhuatl, Xoxo-oco-tlan; meaning “Place wherever there ar inexperienced pines”. The municipality of Xoxocotla is finite to the north by city American state Doblado, to the east by Tlaquilpa and to the south by Puebla de Zaragoza State .
