The Berkshire railroad repository may be a railroad repository situated in Lenox, Massachusetts, us that gives historical exhibits still as train rides up to Stockbridge, Massachusetts, us on the Housatonic Railroad right of means.
The Berkshire railroad repository was supported in 1984, as a not-for-profit organization. A similar year, the Berkshire railroad repository began operative rider excursions between Lee and nice Barrington, over tracks in hand by the Housatonic Railroad. As a result of deteriorating track conditions, rider operations were suspended in 1989. The excursion trains came back in 2003, based mostly out of the fixed up station in Lenox, with regular schedules to Lee and Stockbridge.
