Kangilinnguit could be a settlement and a military service base within the Sermersooq municipality, settled at the mouth of Arsuk fiord in southwestern Greenland. A road, roughly five kilometers long, between Kangilinnguit and Ivittuut create them the sole cities in Greenland connected by roads.
Kangilinnguit was supported as ‘Green Valley’ by the us Navy throughout the Second war to guard the extremely strategic Greenland spar quarry within the former settlement of Ivittuut.
