Cuyahoga Falls is called when the Cuyahoga stream (which flows into Lake Erie) and therefore the series of waterfalls that line the southern boundary of town. Cuyahoga Falls is fringed by urban center to the south and therefore the Cuyahoga natural depression park to the northwest.
