Lake Orion originated as a resort city and over time has incorporated components of a suburb. At the flip of the 20 th century, the city featured atiny low park close to Park Island on Lake Orion. It enclosed a picket roller coaster and carousel. The village and administrative division area unit home to Lake Orion highschool, Bald WV Park, Indianwood Golf and gild, Canterbury Village, the Scripps Mansion, and a General Motors works, Orion Assembly.
